Music and the Spoken Word

We were home for three days, and Brandon was headed off to Scout Camp for a week. We drove up to Flagstaff Friday afternoon, Brian dropped the three boys and I off at a hotel and drove out to scout camp for camp games and testimony meeting. Brian assures me it is quite a different experience having testimony meeting with a group of deacons than with the Young Women. He and Brandon left Saturday morning and picked us up and we drove up to Utah for two weeks. The boys and I found a great diner, Galaxy Diner on the old Route 66 for dinner. Most of us had Breakfast for dinner with milkshakes. Sunday we drove to Salt Lake to listen Music and the Spoken Word. Brian and the three oldest went in the Conference Center. Zach and I enjoyed it from the small theatre where we could make noise. The Tabernacle Choir was practicing for the Pioneer Celebration so we were able to go in and listen to them after the broadcast was over.

The boys found a Red Wings tie years ago for Brian and they have been pleading for him to wear it for years..since there was no stand sitting this Sunday he agreed to wear it. Once we made it to the top of the Conference Center we spent our fair share of time making sure they stayed on the right side of the fence.
