Bits of Trivia and odd facts

How do you get Lynn and Cheryl Teuscher out to AZ in 100+ heat?

To see the thousands of saguaro cacti in bloom? No, Brian needed to be ordained a High Priest and asked his Dad to perform the ordination.

How secretive is the San Tan Stake Presidency?

Very. They realigned three wards and made a fourth ward a month ago. Brian was called as the 1st counselor in the new ward, Meadowview 2nd. The attempt to leave the building after the call was issued was like an FBI undertaking. There were 2 or 3 people on cell phones, closing doors, checking hallways just to make sure this new bishopric was not seen leaving the building together! It was pretty funny.

Who is Muh-zone-ee?

In Zach-speak, which is generally quite intelligible these days, this word can only be understood when looking at pictures. And more specifically pictures of temples. We finally realized this was his interpretation of 'Moroni'

What are 'little pants'?

Shorts of course. This makes perfect sense to a two year old- big pants have more fabric, and little pants don't have has much!

What do the letters T, Y, I have in common?

Brandon has been diving this summer with two of his friends and these letters represent the arm positions you go through before jumping. He came home and taught everyone, so we have had many chants of T Y circle I throughout the house.

How many weeks have we been homebound?

Two. We have had the flu and it has been passed around!!! It is one of these lingering bugs which goes on for days. Maybe someday soon we will enjoy this summer. I don't love being out in the heat, but knowing we can't go out, makes it hard. We are getting pretty stir crazy around here.

Why aren't freeways free?

Andrew wants to know why freeways aren't free to drive anyway you want on them. Last night we were driving home on the freeway he didn't think it was fair that police could stop people on a freeway- well then why are they called FREEways he wondered, FREE means you can do anything you want. Interesting thought process. He's not driving a car that's for sure!
