New York

From Brandon's camera at Port Jefferson.... We always love to see what huge yachts are docked at the piers. Apparently this one spent a few penny's on gas!

Waiting at DFW....

I flew out with the boys for a week or so, Brian flew out to spend a few days with us and then came with us to the family reunion in Dallas. Each of the boys had numerous pictures of the airports on their camera's. I guess as we get older the novelty of flying wears off.
Grandma and Grandpa set up the basement for them to sleep. What an inspired decision! We all know how late the boys sleep in! It was pitch black and quiet and they managed to sleep until 8am most mornings, which helped everyone's moods be much more pleasant!
I put this photo in because it's funny to see myself now and the picture of me when I was 12-13 right behind.

Birthday TimeEither Brandon or I celebrate our birthday when we are on vacation, it happened to be mine this year. The boys made their own pinata, since they didn't like any they saw, made some great water balloon games to play and sent me on a treasure hunt up and down and up and down the stairs. We ended the evening at the beach- it was low tide at West Meadow which means you can walk out a good 1/4 mile from shore. There are plenty of sand bars to play on, crabs and fish galore to catch, and easy waves to enjoy the boats on. We stayed until the sun dipped behind the horizon- peaceful and gorgeous.
